Why should I use KJG-Auctions when I can do it myself?

We handle all the details, not just the auction listing.  We professionally photograph, graphically layout and word your ad, handle all emails and phone calls. And finally, we package, deliver and ship your sold items.

How much is my item worth?

We don't act as appraisers and therefore we don't determine a value for items we list on our clients behalf.  We believe that by making your items available via online auctions and starting your bidding at $.99 that you'll attract more people to view and bid on the goods.  The more individuals that view the auction listing, the more likely they will bid against each other.  The result is that you'll get the maximum amount the market will bear, or the "fair market value", in real time, of your item.

Of course, you are free to have your item appraised by others familiar with comparable items worth and specify a reserve, or minimum amount, that you will sell your item for.

Who takes care of shipping?

One of the greatest advantages of using us is that we take care of everything for you.  You need not worry about getting your item delivered; we'll package and ship it for you!  Buyer's generally pay for the shipping expenses and can specify the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or others) of their choice.  Insurance is available to the buyers at their discretion and is recommended.

When do I get paid?

Just as soon as your item is paid for and we've received confirmation of delivery and feedback from the buyer, we put the wheels in motion to issue you a check.  We issue payment checks on the 10th and 25th of each month and mail them the next business day.  Most auctions last for 7 days and we need to give buyers a few days to make arrangement for payment settlements.  Generally, it's reasonable to expect this process will take a few weeks or more.
